Bull is a vicious comedy in which three people are called to a meeting with their boss. One of them is going to be fired. In the course of an hour, we see the nasty, brutish side of workplace politics as two candidates gang up on the other. Taking its name from the sport of bull fighting, Bull an allegorical deathmatch of bizarre power plays and one-upmanship. Bull explores our acceptance of the culture of cruelty and the idea of cruelty as entertainment.
Mike Bartlett says “Bull is about power; it’s about taking someone down. It’s a brutal piece of work. But hopefully still funny.”
