Auditions for LSM March Production

Life-sized Meme Productions is holding auditions for our upcoming production “Year of Bad Men” by Patrick Coyle. This show will be performed five times at the Phoenix Theater on March 21st-24th at 7:30pm, with a 2:30 matinee on the 24th. Rehearsals will start the first week of January.

This is a PAID performance opportunity.  Actors will receive $50, a comp ticket to the show  and an equal share of the show’s profit split between cast and crew.

Mary Sullivan holds a man responsible for her daughter’s death by overdose, a man she has never met, a man her daughter never met, an elusive man who has been on the lam for 21 years.  She is going to find him...that’s as far as her planning has taken her.  This obsession stands between her and self-destruction.

Tommy Gallagher, on the run from his past for two decades, has a dream of settling down.  Then the universe delivers a one-two punch in the form of a young woman arriving at his door claiming to be his biological daughter, and what appears to be a chance meeting with a beautiful woman in the Tam O’ Shanter Saloon, a woman talking about "starting over," "telling the truth," and kissing him like he hasn’t been kissed in a long time.

Mary is torn between her desire to destroy the man she believes is responsible for her daughter’s death and an untenable attraction she feels for him. She is also mysteriously drawn to the young woman claiming to be his biological daughter.

Tommy views the woman secretly intent on destroying him as his salvation.

Love and sex, secrets and lies, grief and ecstasy intermingle in Patrick Coyle’s explosive Year of Bad Men.
