This position is responsible for promoting, prospecting, soliciting and executing group sales and fostering relationships with new and existing clients. The ideal candidate for this full-time position, year round position will be outgoing, detail oriented and have an interest in the arts and entertainment industry. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Lakeville South High School seeking Technical Director

Technical Director for Lakeville South High School

I am looking for someone who is proficient in set building, collaborative in set design, and has basic knowledge in lighting and sound design as well. 

You would need to lead a group of students in constructing the set and understanding the backstage dynamic of a High School production. 

We aim high! So pushing the students to learn and be passionate about the craft is a must!

We do 3 productions a year

A fall play, competing One Act, and a spring musical.

Position Description 

Technical Assistant will assist with creation of scenery, stage elements and props for live theatre productions utilizing various materials.  This position will also include assistance with construction of  scenic painting, rigging, scene shop maintenance, and working with and instructing volunteers.  The Technical Assistant may also assist with building/facility maintenance and performances.

Project SUCCESS is a youth-development organization that motivates and inspires students to dream about their futures, helps them create a plan to get there, and gives them the tools and support they need to achieve their goals. We work with over 13,000 6th—12th graders in the Minneapolis school district each year. 

Our Program Coordinators engage in all operational aspects of Project SUCCESS programming including theater events, field trips, middle school musicals, outdoor learning experiences, and college tours.
