Good Arts Collective seeks NEW members!

WHO ARE WE?

The Good Arts Collective (GAC) is a member-driven arts organization of local artists, musicians, actors, writers, filmmakers, apparel designers and craftsmen which seeks to enrich and strengthen the Twin Cities art scene through collaboration and coordination. By working together and pooling resources and effort, GAC encourages members in their own artistic projects and vision while reaching out to the surrounding community through public works, performances, volunteering and collaboration with other local artists. We are located inside of First Covenant Church in downtown Minneapolis, at the corner of 7th and Chicago, 1 block south of US Bank Stadium. GAC is not a faith-based organization.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MEMBER?

GAC members choose from 4 available quarterly membership options with 24-hour access to our space, which includes a 1600-square-foot rehearsal/performance space and a fully-outfitted recording studio.

At GAC we place a high value on the community aspect of our organization and believe that if we focus on fostering collaboration and the pooling of resources and energy, we can truly be greater than the sum of our parts. For our members, this means attending monthly meetings, being accessible to help fellow GAC members with their projects, giving time for GAC outreach/volunteer opportunities, etc.

WHAT KIND OF ART HAPPENS AT GAC?

We have or have had artists across a wide range of mediums. Live music, theater, opera, puppetry, costume design, contemporary dance, photo, video, and playwriting have all happened here at GAC, as well as table reads, rehearsals, auditions, movie nights, recording sessions and even the occasional D&D session have been known to happen here. There’s always art happening around here, and we want to see even more!
