Our Executive Director will be on maternity leave in January and part of February, so we would like to secure and train in this position in October and November.

The Lex-Ham Community Theater is seeking persons to lead, co-lead, and/or assist with the costume design for its fall production of First Lady by Katharine Dayton & George Kaufman. The play is set among the political and diplomatic who's who of Washington, D.C. in the 1930s. The play opens on September 28 in Saint Paul. The play has a cast of about 25, so there are wonderful opportunities for creativity.
There is a $200 stipend for the lead costume designer.
Position Title: Technical Assistant (full-time)
Reports To: Technical Director
Technical Assistant will assist with creation of scenery, stage elements and props for live theatre productions utilizing various materials. This position will also include assistance with construction of scenic painting, rigging, scene shop maintenance, and working with and instructing volunteers. The Technical Assistant may also assist with building/facility maintenance and performances.
Project SUCCESS is a youth-development organization that motivates and inspires students to dream about their futures, helps them create a plan to get there, and gives them the tools and support they need to achieve their goals. We work with over 13,000 6th—12th graders in the Minneapolis school district each year.
Our Program Coordinators engage in all operational aspects of Project SUCCESS programming including theater events, field trips, middle school musicals, outdoor learning experiences, and college tours.
