Market Garden Theatre (MGT) is seeking two non-AEA actors for their April 2018 production of Eric Coble’s MY BARKING DOG. This will be a Minnesota premiere. Contains mature themes.

Please prepare an audition package consisting of two contrasting monologues that together are no more than 2 1/2 minutes.

Rehearsals will start in March and will take place in the evening and some weekends.

CHARACTERS

MELINDA - Factory worker. Lives alone in a generic urban apartment with a burning passion under her calm demeanor. Late 20’s - 40’s.

TOBY - Unemployed and actively seeking a new job. Lives alone in a generic urban apartment. Trying to hold it together despite constant failure. Late 20’s - 40’s.
