Yellow Tree Theatre is seeking a violin and a bass player (upright or electric) for its upcoming production of Flowers for the Room a new musical by Jessica Lind Peterson and Blake Thomas directed by Jason Peterson, with musical direction by Matt Riehle. Yellow Tree Theatre is a professional nonprofit theater located in the Northwest suburbs of Minneapolis in Osseo, Minnesota. A recipient of a 2016 National Theater Company Grant from the American Theater Wing, Yellow Tree is a small-town theater with a national reputation, and serves as a vital artistic hub for our community.
An orignal play: Not In Our Neighborhood will be presented at the Landmark Center during February, Black History Month, 2019. This is a true story of an African American couple's fight with racism following the purchase of a home in an all White St. Paul communiity during the 1920's. We need middle aged men and women of various races to fill roles. People of color are encouraged to audition. Auditions will be held at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 732 W. Central Avenue, St. Paul, MN on December 3rd and 4th, from 7pm to 9pm.

Classical Actors Ensemble is seeking two talented high school or college students for an internship as performers in our spring 2019 educational tour of Romeo and Juliet. High school students should be juniors or seniors. We're seeking young men or students who can present as young men. The interns will receive significant training in acting, text work, and stage combat from professional artists and artist/educators. The interns will receive a small stipend. Students of color are encouraged to apply. Intern roles will include Sampson, Gregory, Balthasar, and Abraham.

"It's a Wonderful Life" - Auditions
The Zephyr Theatre partners with Crosswinds Community Church to produce a special Christmas theatre experience for the whole community.
Auditions will take place Sunday, November 4 from 7:00-10:00pm and Monday, November 5 from 7:00-10:00pm at The Zephyr Theatre, 601 Main Street N., Stillwater. Rehearsals will start November 7 and performances will be December 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16.

The Glass Menagerie is a memory play, and its action is drawn from the memories of the narrator, Tom Wingfield. Tom is a character in the play, which is set in St. Louis in 1937. He is an aspiring poet who toils in a shoe warehouse to support his mother, Amanda, and sister, Laura. Mr. Wingfield, Tom and Laura’s father, ran off years ago and, except for one postcard, has not been heard from since.
