SUBMISSION CALL: Short Film
Power Out, a short film directed by Lauren Keating and featuring Twin Cities actors Christina Baldwin and Leah Anderson.
Log Line: When Laura moves her teenage daughter Grace from Los Angeles back to her childhood home in Minnesota, the past is unearthed and their relationship is tested.
Seeking actors for a photo shoot, the results of which will be featured as social media content in the film. These roles are non-speaking; actors will participate in a photo shoot, capturing pre-determined set ups.
While the characters are high school seniors, actors must be 21+.
All folx encouraged to submit. Headshots can be professional photos, or feel free to submit your favorite instagram/social media photo.
Women+ : please submit a resume, headshot & a full body photo that exemplifies your personality, ie. a favorite hobby/having fun with friends.
Men+ : please submit a resume, headshot & a full body shot. If you are submitting for Dude, please note that this role requires you to be shirtless.
Seeking actors for the roles of -
Megan: Grace’s (ex) girlfriend, a classic mean girl. Really fun to hang out with, until she’s not. 17 years old, actor must be 21+.
Dude: Megan’s friend, who becomes more than a friend. He loves a party. 17 years old, actor must be 21+.
Friend 1: Open to all gender identities; the clown. 17 years old, actor must be 21+.
Friend 2: Open to all gender identities; the nerd. 17 years old, actor must be 21+.
Friend 3: Open to all gender identities; anti-establishment and loves a fight. 17 years old, actor must be 21+.
Actors will be asked to provided their own wardrobe, following a costume consultation.
Locations will in/around Uptown.
This shoot will take place before 8pm on August 20th or 21st; the specific time is TBD, though not more than a few hours and you may not be called the entire time.
There is a modest stipend of $30 for the role of Megan, and $20 for each of the additional roles.
