Jared Zeigler is an AEA stage manager and artist-administrator based in Minneapolis. Zeigler is also a production assistant at Park Square Theater and is a company member with Theatre Novi Most, serving as publicist and operations coordinator.
Recent stage management work includes ASMing the world premiere of Five Points at Theater Latte Da; covering an ASM track for Baskerville, a Sherlockian farce with a busy deck track and lots of quick changes at Park Square; stage/production managing a rural Minnesota tour of an Ibsen meets bluegrass An Enemy of the People and a Minneapolis/Saint Paul tour of The Hoopla Train (Sod House Theater); a northern Minnesota tour and Minneapolis run of George Brant's Grounded (Frank Theatre); Of Mice and Men (Park Square Theatre); and Citizen: An American Lyric by Claudia Rankine (Frank Theatre @ Intermedia Arts).
Other highlights include directing Urinetown: the Musical (Phoenix Theater @ Sheldon Theatre, Red Wing, MN); co-founding the queer performance troupe Homo Hotdish; producing Dancing on the Edge for Theatre Novi Most at the Southern Theatre in Minneapolis and at SUNY New Paltz; and coordinating Park Square Theatre's 2018-19 General Auditions.
Upcoming work includes a remount of Of Mice and Men at Park Square Theater in the fall and the premiere of Jefferson Township Sparkling Junior Talent Pageant at Park Square next summer. Open for early fall and late winter/early spring possibilities.
