I appeared in Seque Production's Denial In October.  It was selected by Lavender magazine as one of the top ten best plays in all theatres in the Twin Cities in 2018.

Biography

After 40+ years practicing law as a litigator, William P. Studer returned to the theatre in 2007. The feature film, The Current, in which he has a major supporting role, played in movie theatres nationally and internationally, is now released on DVD and is on Netflix.  Another feature film, The Polar Bear Club, in which he has a leading role, won the audience favorite award at the Twin Cities Film Fest in 2015.  In 2014, he was a finalist as best actor in an original leading role in the National Audio Verse Awards for Forsythia – The Chronos Paragon, an audio web series which also was the winner as the Best New Original Ongoing Production.  His favorite stage roles include Scrooge (A Christmas Carol - Lyric Arts); Norman (On Golden Pond - Gallery); Jack (The Weir - Pioneer Place); Looseleaf Harper (Happy Birthday, Wanda June - Nimbus ); Simms (Sympatico – Theatre in the Round); Old Man Brunner (Old Man Brunner Country - Jon Hassler Theatre) and Grandpa Vanderhof (You Can’t Take It With You - Lyric Arts and Gallery).
